Great place to stay. Great value for money and the location couldn't be better. We had an accessible room which was almost perfect apart from the bathroom having a basin the size of a thimble that had a tap the size of a courtyard hand pump. The space to splash your face and to shave was about 10cm² either side of the giant tap. The shower was great though – completely accessible with a fold-down seat. A little careworn in places and some maintenance is required. The breakfasts were very good. These are served in the lovely main reception area.

great facilities - especially the easy secure storage for bikes, and well-equipped kitchen, dining, lounge space. Downstairs bistro has a great friendly atmosphere and sense of community. The building is a lovely historic space in the granary building, with great local highlights, advice and information.

First rate hostel. Clean spacious rooms in a great location. Members kitchen is a bit stuffy. Board games available. Friendly staff. Ventilation could be improved throughout. Pricing is very attractive. In balance Recommended. Lots to do in walking distance.

Very nice staff and good rooms with pricate facilities. Free car park across the street. Good location for visiting Edinburg(abt 1h drive, park your car at one of the P&R stations and finish by train)

Great budget accomodations comfy beds clean and tidy rooms with en suite. Floor 5 has lounge with T V and tables and chairs. Then a fully functional kitchen with all appliances. Make your own meal and drinks just like home from home. The granary does lovely meals and packed lunches can be ordered.

We all enjoyed a lovely stay here at the hostel with the kids really nice place great facilities but we were disappointed about the breakfasts suppose to be a big breakfast but it didn't have much on it for the price and I had paid for a small breakfast for my 4year old but it didn't have what we ordered ...

Only had a short visit ,parked the car,you will need a parking disc to put in the window, they are readily available in the information centre, it will cost you a pound,keep it,it can be used again and again. Walked to the wall next to the river Tweed and found a lovely cafe down the steps.
